I just love the smooth transitions of this menu. Is there a way to make this work on a Yola site?

If you give me a couple of days, I may be able to implement onto the Yola Code Site. In the meantime, there are lots of others menus that I've implemented that you may be able to use. Please look at http://yolacodes.yolasite.com Be sure to read the rules first before grabbing the codes. Thanks.

Hey 1confusedblugger

It's done now! =) You can go to the Yola Code site and take a look. It's under Navigation Menu called "Smooth Nav Menu". Please be sure to read the rules first before grabbing the codes. Thanks.

I would like to know how to embed a js file for example so that yola will accept the java script for instance.

Unfortunately the uploading if js files is restricted for security reasons. Sorry I don't have a solution for this until we figure out a way to distinguish between legitimate users who want to upload this type of file vs people who do it for malicious purposes. It is a source of frustration to advanced users who would like to upload Javascript and HTML files. Wish I had an answer.

Thanks Monique. littleus, in that case, how did you get around using the js file to make the menu code work, or am I not allowed to ask? :)

Hi littleus,

I am getting an error when pasting the code in the 3rd html widget. I realize that this may be my error so i have tried repasting several times. Is there anything specific I should be aware of when pasting code e.g. spaces at the end of the code etc?

None that I'm aware of. Did you try pasting into Notepad and then copy and paste into your HTML widget?

Yep, copied it from the test site into notepad and then into my site. It works fine on the test site so the problem is definitely on my side. By the way, do i need to make changes to the path to the resource images if I uploaded them into the default folder in the file manager?

If you uploaded to your default folder, then nope.. you don't need to change the image path.
