Could you gals and guys view my photo page and check for load time lags if any???

So I was thinking to make the photo page smoother for the viewer and decided to use Photobucket for the small and large images because I found that it offered the ability to use as many images as I wished without the fear of prolonging page load on the viewers computer.

Although I have checked it on a new and old computer and it and the (click here's) loaded pretty quick I wonder if you all could give it a look see and check it on yours...

Thanks so much

PS I know that the first and last set of images in the (view in order as a group) are a little on the wide size but I will change them this evening. Photobucket wouldn't let me in their system so I have to do each one individually.

Loaded super fast for me! A very appealing presentation of some very appealing photographs. You realise, of course, that all the time spent looking at your playhomes, is making me want to pretend to be 8 and get one for myself?

Hi Ed, I have a real old compaq w/ pentium III, But I've added a boatload of memory to handle photoshop & a dual monitor set up. Your slide show loaded instantly, and ran perfect. Looks Great! Guido.

Thanks for the test you guys. I appreciate it a great deal. It’s getting better little by little I think. I hope someday soon to be done but I know that when I sell this one and then build another it is gonna be the same thing all over again...

This next time however I will have an in progress section and step by step slideshow.

Well thanks for the use of your eyes...

For once I looked at your site and was NOT the bearer of bad news! Looks great! So picasa is the slide show host....hmmm. I been looking for something similar. For this being your First site, you have really picked up a lot of info. I'd swear you have done this before. I feel so inadequate. I think I have site envy.... However I do have a domain now. I'm not leaving synthasite entirely. I'll integrate both my .com and my subdomain here as I can't afford 7 .coms right now! IF I ever figure a lot of this out as you have.

That's new to site building but not to ad design and layout. I have been doing flyers, posters and advertising for a delivery company I owned and sold to care for my mother full time for 10 years before her passing. I am glad all that experience was not deleted from my brain when I hit reset too many times.

Site envy now that's funny because when I am done I can devote all my time to others again.

Interestingly enough I got started all those years ago with Print Master Gold... Guido I am sure you are familiar with that one right?

Mr. Ed

Arggg but if money was no object it would be so great... Still not bad for $10 total to do the site and sooo many long sleepless nights

Ed... how about this one... Once upon a time, all I had was pagemaker and would build 100 - 250 piece logos and graphics. There would be so many components in a little area, you could hardly click the one you wanted to edit or get it back once released! ... good times... and you're showing your age with Print Master! Funny, you don't look 80 in your photo!

Grey is sprouting up everywhere my friend...

sadly basic was not so much fun in the 80s and they not I have come a long way since then... The alien technology must have made an impact I think.

So did yoiu get a chance to see how fast the full sized images loaded from photobucket?

http://honeybearplayhomes.synthasite....

I was totally amazed at how fast they came up with the imbedded code they provide for my image gallery.

I had to group them because of the orientation.

Hey Guido and all

Check this sweet magnifier out. I need images of higher resolution first. It is real simple to modify his code. He really out did himself.
