If you're asking if you can make a favicon in the address bar - You Can! Just go to your right hand side of the site builder, and click on "properties". Then, scroll down and you will see "favorite icons". Click on that and then select an icon you'd like to have for your page. You will need to do this for each page.

Hello Tamar,

Please note that Internet Explorer doesn't allow favicons to be displayed next to your URL or on the tab of the window. The favicon will be displayed if the site is bookmarked and in your Favourites folder. The best option would be to change to Firefox which does show the favicons in all three areas.

To add your own favicon to your site (the little image that appears next to your URL of the browser window), this is what you need to do:

1. Click on the Properties sidebar.
2. You will see a "Favorites Icon" field (the last box at the bottom). Click on the browse button to the right of the box to browse your desktop or file manager for an image to upload.
3. To see what your favicon will look like, save and preview your page.

I hope this helps, Tamar!

Hi, sorry if i've jumped in and I shouldn't but just last week I went through the "favicon" fad and issues.....

I read that the favicons won't show in IE, but, yes they can :) I only use IE and my favicons show (my site is not published but I had a few friends check out my preview page and they all could see the favicon, I hope it will still show when published, it should).

Make sure the image you want to use as your favicon is a gif, jpg, png or bmp type but it has to be saved as a .ico file which I think might be the real thing for it to show in IE.

Don't worry I was shaking my head but then found the favicon generator and away I went.....the generator will automatically save it as a .ico for you......yay.....just save it to your desktop or wherever then upload it to your file manager and add it as per the instructions in the post above.

The downside is that you will have to add your favicon manually to each page on your site if you want it to show on each page.

Good luck and have fun (I
