When creating a new site I would like to have the option to start by cloning an existing site. This way I can have my "production" site together with a development clone in which I can try out some changes (without changing the production site).

Hey berndt,

That would be very useful indeed! Unfortunately copying an entire site is not a feature at this time, but I will definitely forward this feature request onto our team for consideration in future releases.

You can however make an exact copy of a single page by using the Save As feature. To do this, click on the down arrow of the "Save" button and choose "Save Page As".

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hi berndt

What you can do is use the "save page as" function available on the toolbar - give this a new name. This will completely replicate the page with all its codes.

You can hide this page so that it's not visible to the public by going to your "edit menu" and dragging that page from "in menu" to "out menu".

Then, you can do your changes without having to worry about doing damage to the original page. If you are satisfied with the new changes, then you can simply re-name your page to the original one and this will overwrite your original page.

Hi,
thanks for the good feedback!
Copying a page as suggested will help. In some cases a change could however involve more or less redesigning the whole site including several pages. For convenice, a site "clone" feature would then save some effort.

Not a big problem, just a humble suggestion.

Cheers
