Creating links between pages on my site

When I try to create a link to another page in my site (usually a page that is out of the menu), I highlite the text and click the link menu item.

A pop-shows up prompting me to create the link.

When I try to enter the page name as text directly in the link to page field, it occasionally takes my entry, but most of the time, it does not.

Is this a bug or a feature?

If I know the page name, it is faster to enter the text as opposed to clicking through until I find the page, and clicking through the OKs till the link is created.

Hello Pablo,

If you click the little icon that has three little dots in it you will be given a list of the pages on your site to choose from.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Kind Regards,

I have over 100 pages in my site currently, and I expect this to increase.
Every time I create a link, I have to scroll down to pick the page I want to link to.

I am wondering is if this page link field could be made to accept a text entry like "page99" as opposed to the tedious and time consuming click and scroll method.

It seems accept direct text entry sometimes but not all the time.

Hope this clarifies my question.

Thanks for posting the page graphic.

Thanks for the extra information Pablo. This is something that does sound like a good idea. I'll be sure to pass it on to our developers for consideration.

Yes this is possible. You simply follow the same steps Emmy gave you above.
