Yes, I wanted to have a link page on my site. I created a link page and put a google ad sense code in a widget box. Is it possible for me to create my own links for websites or do I have to wait for them to want to be on my website first.? thanks
Ok I just worked this out today! Open a text box on the page you want your links, type the name of the link that everyone will see for example Synthasite. Then highlight the title you have just written and up on the menu bar next to the text options (below the delete page button) there is a button called insert link, click on that, click on which option you want, Im presuming URL(external) then type in the website address eg www.synthasite.com click ok and your done!
You can link to other websites on the Internet without getting their permission. If you created a links page and want to put links to other websites that would be useful to your site visitors, than definitely do it, that is a great idea.
If you put links to various websites on your links page, you could ask those website owners to give you a link back; this is called a link exchange. There is no guarantee that another site will put a link to your website on their website, but it is good to ask as building links back to your website is a good thing.
If I can be of further assistance please let me know.
