Hi guys I want to create links without lines and in a colour that I choose! so far I have looked at these two answers:

http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/und...

http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/lin...

the first link does not change the colours or put a line under the link when I hover over it (in short does not work at all for me)

Following solution number 2 of the second link removes the lines but only alters the colours in some links whist changing the rgb values in the code has no effect at all! Please help!!!

Hi Kenny, This may be worth a try.

Using Sanja's example from the links you supplied above... try putting "!important" at the end. See usage here: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/cascade.htm...

Hey Kenny

If you can also share with us your page URL where you trying to set this up, we can take a look at what you've done so far and see if we can help you get this working.

Hi again Sanja

here is the URL:: http://sitebuilder.yola.com/ide/index...

I have had some sucess in getting rid of the lines, but would also be able to apply this to the whole of my site and be able to change the colours of the links too.

Thanks
Kenny

Hi Kenny,
I'm glad to hear you were able to remove the lines from your links. At this time there is not a universal way to apply this to your entire site, any changes you make to your text will need to be done widget by widget. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you on that. This is a feature request that is on our list and will be considered in the future.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello Kenny

I have changed one of the links on your FAQ page in your Sitebuilder. Can you please take a look?

Here's the code that I used:

<!--<p align="center"><a style="text-decoration: none;" href="will-the-veggiz-van-visit-my-area.php"><font color="#5dc4d3" face="Georgia" size="5">Will the veggiz van visit my area?</font></a></p>-->

You can change the font color, face and size to your liking.

I hope that is what you're after. Please let me know if it is not.

Hi Sanja

that is fantastic! Thank you so much. I'm presume that for each link that I want to make I must change the code (looks simple enough) and insert the code in place using a HTML widget? I think the biggest problem would be selecting the colours, could you leave a link to somewhere that I could find the colour codes please?

Again thank you, thats a great job that you have done for me.

Oh just another quick question (as I'm far from an expert when it comes to HTML, not much of a beginner even lol) I just noticed the very first part of the code it to align to the centre of the page (at least thats what I think) so do I just align left or right if that's where I want the links to be?

Thanks again

Hi Kenny

Since you have added your links via the Text Widget, you can use the HTML button on your Text Editing toolbar to access your HTML code and modify your link colors.

You can find the color code chart here: http://html101.yolasite.com/html-colo...

You can change the alignment to "center", "left" or "right" if you wish.

Please let me know if you have any further trouble with this.

Hi Sanja,

thanks for that info I'm sure that will make things much easier, although I think I'm almost done now, maybe just a few links that I will change.

Oh just out of interest and it might help out someone else, once you have created the links they can be copied and pasted between pages. which works well for sites like mine with lots of repeated links.

Thanks again

Kenny
