I want to have pictures of products which when clicked on, will open to a new page to provide more information about the product and price info. I am a Silver user, how do I do this?

Thanks for reading :-)

Thank you for your response. It was very useful however not quite what I'm looking for.

I have many products to sell so have lots of thumbnails for each product and would like each thumbnail once clicked on, to open a new page revealing further product info/costs etc. However with my current site template, it only allows me to add tabs. Which means I would have hundreds of tabs for all my products rather than a product tab - thumbnails of all the products - a single page pops up with further info and to add to cart.

hope this makes sense?

Also...the paypal widget is in USD and I need it to be in GB Pounds - can I change this?

Appreciate any help :-) Many thanks

Hi marchessa,

Sounds as if you have a very large catalogue :)

First of all you can change the currencies and other aspects of the Paypal shopping carts but you need to go directly to the Paypal site for this.

Secondly I think I would consider a fully fledged shopping cart system. Yola is about to release theirs and in the meantime I would look at ecwid.com. A very easy to setup system and completely flexible. Free for a catalogue of less than 100 items and $17 per month for more than 100 items. It's a very flexible and fairly friendly system to setup. Their support is reasonable and their knowledge base is excellent.

It's perfect to add to a Yola site. There are no other fees or commissions charged by Ecwid. You can opt out if you are on a pay for contract at anytime. Its prepaid month by month.

When Yolas system comes online then you can review your situation and switch over. There is no info from Yola available at this time so I don't know if product catalogues are transferable through text files etc. I hope so.
