Hi, Nicola,

I'm sorry you are having trouble with this. Are you using a debit card? If so, you will need to use a credit card to redeem a domain from the Get Your Business Online program. A credit card is required to confirm that you are a British citizen. You may be able to use a pre-paid credit card if it has your location information. Please let us know if you continue to have trouble.

Thanks - yes I was using a debit card but now I cannot retrieve any of my website, so does that mean I have to go on again and re-create it?

Nicola,

Your website should still be saved in your account, it's just not published. I found a website in an account registered under your name titled "Latham Business Services." Is this the website you are referring to? If so, you simply need to log back in to the account you created originally via Yola.com in order to access it. If you need log in help please see this tutorial.

Oh dear now I have done it all wrong! I have given my site the wrong name as I put in different name in the sub domain and it has been published under that one! Help! I want it published under Latham Business.co.uk and nothing else. I also want to create another website which will be Herts Supper but put those details in too soon!

Hi Nicola,
You will either need to have a credit card or a pre-paid credit card to redeem your free domain and publish it to your site. Here is what you will need to do to redeem the domain:

1. Go to your "My Yola" page
2. Click on the "Domains" link on the left hand side of the screen
3. Enter the domain name you want in the "Customize your domain" area:

You will then come a page where you can claim the free domain name by entering your details including your credit card information. I hope this will help, please let me know if you have more trouble.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello Nicola,
I'm really sorry to hear you are struggling with this. Can you tell me how you are entering your post code as well as what browser you are using. I can then continue working with you to resolve this.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello Emmy

The browser is IE7 (possibly 8).

My postcode is SG14 3LY - it is entered as SG1 43LY, which is not correct. I am
trying to use a Virgin money mastercard to pay.

It has taken me all week to get the website live!

Thanks for your help.

Nicola

Hi Nicola

I understand your frustration about this matter and I do hope we are able to resolve it quickly.

You will need to enter your postcode in this format: SG14 3LY.  If you are not able to do this, then please switch to a different browser and try again.

One more thing: is it the first time you are buying a .co.uk domain with us?
