CSS editing - a compromise

It is possible to modify certain CSS properties via the yola interface?
I.e Under 'Edit Page Design' you could have controls to modify colour scheme, heading styles, fonts, and other visual elements.

Yola doesn't allow CSS editing (for understandable reasons) but certain common customizations require editing the CSS. If the templates are designed in such a way that certain properties without direct access to the stylesheet, I think this would solve a lot of customization issues. It won't please everybody, but it's safe for Yola and more flexible for most users.

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your post. We do understand that this is something people would like to be able to edit and we are working on changes like this for the future.

Thanks for your response. I've recently found yola, and I'll probably stick with it because it offers so much functionality without much effort. I've tried the offering from 1and1, they have this level of control over visual aspects but not other things like blogs which make Yola great.

Hope to see some more flexibility in look and feel soon. Although this kind of improvement may be seen as something to add later, I think it's important because people want their website's to be individual and not look like they've just picked up a template. And even with 100 templates, you'll be able to recognise yola work after a while.
