Custom 404 pages

Evening all,

Just a quick question as to if you can create your own 404 page. I've just noticed a technical hitch on my part where the drop down CSS menu I have replicates the entire URL after the / on the main URL, like: http://www.tvpresuk.yolasite.com/http.... This is simply due to human error by myself, and temporarily I won't be able to go page by page around to fix the issue. In the meantime, I'd like to customize the 404 message for all 404's on the site.

Is this possible? Do I need CSS or HTML for it work? Or, is it not possible.

Hello Jim,
Unfortunately there is not a way to customize the 404 page at this time, however that would be a really nice feature to have I agree :) This is on our list of feature requests to consider in the future.

Hi Jim

Currently, this isn't possible to set 404 pages because you have to have a .htaccess file in the root directory of your domain name, and we don't have access to the root directory.

Hopefully they allow us to set a page on our site for a 404 page, because I would like to have custom 404 pages also!

Sincerely,
Nathan

Thanks to both of you. I'll just need to go round and fix it manually... Only a good 50 pages to change the HTML of!

I agree, it would be nice it you could just make a 404.php file that it could search for and if that's missing go to the default one.
