I've a problem with my custom domain.

I was publishing my site to www.esecrets.tk and now I need to add www.techrome.com as my primary domain.

I added my new domain but it is just redirection to www.esecrets.tk

I need to use my .com domain as primary , But I got confused in new site manager.

I don't have any login problems, but where to choose primary domain ?

Is there any update or correction on this?

According to http://www.yola.com/customer-support/..., Emmy posted:
You are able to assign a domain as "Primary Domain", this will be the canonical (primary) domain and the one the other domains will redirect to. To do this:

1. Login to your Yola account and make sure you are on the "My Yola" page.
2. Click on "Domains" and then click on "Advanced domain settings".
3. Make sure the correct domain name is selected on the drop-down list on the right.
4. Click on "Make this my primary domain".
5. Click on "Save".

Step 2 must be incorrect. I don't see "Advanced domain settings," as an option.

I have two domains on a site, but no way to make the one primary.

Help please.

Hello Margie,
Unfortunately there is not a fix in place for this as of yet, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Our engineers are working on this and I hope to have some information early next week. I will post back here with an update by Tuesday with our progress. Thanks so much for your patience.

Hello everyone,

Ok, I have spoken with a colleague and there is a way that we can set this for you manually from our side. If you would like your primary domain changed to something different, can you please email us at support@yola.com and specify in your email:

1. The email address attached to your account with the site in it that you want the primary domain changed for.
2. The domain the site currently has as the primary.
3. The domain you would like to be the primary.

We can then take care of this.

Thanks,
Emmy

Hello Emmy, yes - I have been having this problem for ages since prior to the original question above from Ayesh - think I was probably the first to try to undertake the change of domains when you had updated to the new version. so have had hiccups since then. Have also emailed and Laura came back and said we could do ourselves, but I emailed back to her and said there was no way to do so... However, this section has answered my question. Shall await, with patience, until your tech people have either fixed, or i need to desperately change one of my domain pointers.
Goodness what would we do without this wonderful ability to communicate on this message are?
thanks Yola. Shall be patient, or at least try to be.

Hi JenC,
Yes, we need to manually change your primary domain from our side currently. If you have sent an email to Laura with the domain you want to be made the primary she will be able to assist you with this. Thanks for your patience :)

I run a website through Yola and have now purchased a second domain. Basically I want to add the second domain name to the same site. The second domain is pointing to Yola through GoDaddy. But when I click on my yola - then domains - it states "It looks like you do not have any domains". When I click back to my sites it shows my site and my custom domain name. I'm confused so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Shazzy
