I have a custom domain and site in one Yola Account, I need to move it to another Yola Account... how do I move the custom domain? I know I cannot copy the site, but will need to rebuild it, but what about the domain?

Hello Gail,

1. This is easily done. You will first need to Unpublish the site with the custom domain.

Go to Site > Publishing > Unpublish Site.
A confirmation dialog box will open up.
Type "Unpublish" into the text box provided and click "Unpublish site".
Your site is now unpublished.

You can republish that site at any time, by clicking on the "Publish" button. You can then choose to publish the site to a free Yola subdomain if you want.

2. Publish the second site to the custom domain.

How do I move the custom domain from one Yola Account to another Yola Account?

Am I correct in thinking that Yola STILL does not have a way to move a site from one account to another?

Hi Gail,

I am sorry, I completely misunderstood your question. It is not possible to do this yourself and you will need to contact Yola support. To speed up the transfer process you should supply them with the following information in your email.

1. Login email address of the account the site is currently located in.
2. Login email address of the account the site needs to be transferred into.
3. Name of the site that needs to be transferred.
4. Domain name to be transferred.
5. Email addresses to be transferred (if applicable).

Hope this helps.
