If I upload a font file to my file manager, is it possible to use a font that is not "browser safe"?

Hello graphicanimator,

The only safe way to introduce custom fonts on your page is to upload them as image files. You can do this if you have access to any image editing tools such as Photoshop, or you can try

If you are uploading the fonts as image files, you will surely be able to add them to you page as an image, though, you will not be able to physically add text into a text widget with that font selection.

The font selection we have represents a complete list of browser safe fonts. See: Website Browser Safe Fonts. This means that the fonts in our Text Widget will work consistently in whatever browser your visitor uses. Unfortunately, there are only a few fonts that work in all browsers. If we added any more fonts you would run the risk of not having your text display correctly for some of your visitors, which is why we have not added any of these fonts.

You could add custom fonts from an external source by copying and pasting or editing the HTML code of your text. However, you should be aware of the following dangers:

1. Copying and pasting could introduce formatting that is not web-friendly and this would cause your site not to load, so we don't recommend it.
2. Your site will not display consistently in all browsers.

Please let me know if you need further clarification.

Kind Regards,
