Custom footer for Silver members (editable and in place of where the "Yola Footer" would go for free users)

Thanks Jake for sharing your ideas of what you'd like to see. We'll pass this onto our development team for future consideration.

In the meantime, you could add a Text Widget to the bottom of your page and add your footer text or images there.

I wuld like it to be available to all Yola users. It would be nice to put "Copyright 2010 {company} All Rights Reserved" in the footer (Accept for Yola Free, Yola free users would still have the Yola link) But it would be nice to be able to put text into the footer!

I already knew how to do this; though thank you for the quick reply. Do you know how long this would take to implement? I mean; it sounds like a pretty simple job and there are other topics just like this one with loads of supporters.

Thanks,
Jake

Hello Jake

I am unable to pinpoint a timeline as to when this feature may come out as I'd hate to say that we're going to push it out and then it gets yanked back due to other commitments.

Keep voicing those ideas and the more interest that is generated, the more we realize how important those features are to you.

Eureka! I have found a method of putting a line of code at the very bottom of a yola website:

Your copyright line or code

Heres an example: http://ow.ly/2ol52

Please tell me what you think :)

Nice, Jake, how you did that using absolute bottom positioning. Does that work the same in all browsers?

Do you know why, when I look at your page and coding in firebug, that copyright line moves up into your custom search box just above the "Get free songs" image?

I know; it's not ideal but it will have to do for now.

I would really like to see a custom footer as well. One that could take text, links and images and be applied to all site pages.

Me too! I sort of have that on my website. It is: www.ndhmt.com
I droped in a text box thing then I put my stuff in. Then I clicked on the properties tab and set the location thing to a negative and it puts it below.......

Jake, nice website! 2 questions! How did you get the 'Peel me' thing in the top right corner and also the words with cool text and color above the menu/tab bar? Thanks!

The "Peel Me" thing is an affiliate banner from JustHost. (They provided the code). For the header I used an image and used the following code in the heading tab:

please replace [&] with < & >

Thanks,
Jake Thompson

Is there anyway we can get the code for the peel me thing? (One where we can put our own text and stuff into)

Where did you find the codes? What website URL? I really want one of these on my company's site.
