Custom HTML Support for Mobile Sites!

Hi All

I am happy to tell you that you now have the option to display custom HTML on the mobile version of your sites.

How this works:
When you add code to an HTML widget you will see a radio button that says "Display in Mobile". Check this button if you wish your custom HTML to display on the mobile version of your site.

If you enable a code snippet for mobile, be sure to check your mobile site to be sure that it works and does not cause any unintended issues with the rest of your site. If it does you have the option to disable it again by unchecking the button.

We know that this feature has been a long time coming and we are very pleased to make it available today. We hope that the solution we have provided will give you the control over what custom HTML to display on your site, and an easy solution if it turns out that your custom code doesn't work well on mobile devices.

Hi there,

Is there any way we can use @media queries rules within the custom Yola style sheet? If this was possible I would be able to make certain divs I choose to insert responsive.

We turn off style css for mobile mode because mobile mode uses a different style. What you can do to instead is place your media query css inside a style block in an html widget, and then toggle the html widget to appear in mobile mode.

Fantastic news! This coincides well with Amazon announcing to its affiliates that they will be paying commission on orders from mobile friendly sites. My Amazon links can now be seen on a mobile and I can earn commission - an early Christmas present!

Unticking the "Enable" option on the Mobile Publishing window will disable it. It is not active on your website currently.
