I wish if we had a thing called "Custom Layout creator"

How it works:

You gotoa thing called "Create Custom Layout"
Then you start with a blank lay out then you add spaces From A "TOOLBAR"
Add a background and some logos make Custom spaces

So Everything is customizable :)

Extra ideas:

-Layout basket
-Pay $10 for 20
-Custom banner size and spaces
-----------------------------

Wich costs about $5/4 Months ($5=2 layouts that can be saved)
( a cost that ppl will think is chep and will agree and pay :)

Yola will be the best website builder evre

so I hope that yola responds and dose that for real

I will be happy to answer any question :)

Thanx

Hi Yaseenxx,

Thanks for sharing some interesting ideas. Are you aware that you can customize many of the features on the styles already?

For example, Yola gives you the option to either change the background color of your style or upload your own background image, or both! You can also apply it to all the pages.

If you want to know if the option to edit the background image is available for a particular style, see http://www.yola.com/yola-style-guide

Edit the page background color:

1. Click on "Edit Page Design" and then "Format Background".
2. A dialog box will open, click on the down-arrow next to "Background Fill" and the color picker will open.
3. Select the color you would like to use and click on "OK". If you know the Hex value of the color you would like to use, enter it into the space provide (here's a link to a Hex color generator http://cloford.com/resources/colours/....

Upload your own background image:

1. Click on "Edit Page Design" and then "Format Background".
2. A dialog box will open, check the box next to "Use a background image" and click on the "Select" button.
3. The File Manager will open where you can either upload the file from your computer or if it's already uploaded, select it from the File Manager.
4. Once uploaded, customize your settings - whether you would like the image to tile (repeat), where you would like the background to be located on the page and if you would like the background to scroll with the page or not.

Apply to all pages:

You can choose to apply the same background to all of the pages on your site instead of changing the background on each page individually:

1. Click on "Edit Page Design", then click on "Format Background" and "Apply to All Pages".
2. A dialog box will open asking you to confirm whether you would like to apply the change to all the pages on your site, click on "Apply and Save" if you would like to go ahead.

For more information on personalizing your style please check out our tutorial: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/persona...

For a step by step video on Yola.tv on how to change you banner and background, please see: http://www.yola.tv/changing-banner-an...

I hope you can find a solution for your site until we are able to introduce more customization options.

Yes, and you can also change the banner image - copy the image, edit it on photoshop or a similar program, upload it to your site, and use it as the banner image - works great for customization! there are a tun of other things like that. The only thing it would be great to do is change how the main nav bar buttons work, because if u have to many the style cant work with it and it looks really bad - the buttons run down onto the page and u cant ususally see the text.
