Hello, I have a No Frills Black design template on my site. I wanted to have a scroll bar for the left side navigation menu that is similar to the scroll bar you see on this website:

I have a pure black background so something like that but with a longer silver or gray scroll.

Could someone please help? Thanks.

Hello John

If you would like to customize your scroll bar, you will be able to do so with some HTML code. There are numerous resources that offer these codes on the web. Here are 2 I found:

Quackit.com - HTML Scrollbars

HTMLBasix.com - scroll bar generator

I hope these are helpful or that others on the forum have more codes for you to use.

Nazlie, thanks for responding. Is it possible to add this style of menu to the left side of a No Frills template? Instead of the Navigation menu, can we put this style of Menu there?

Example: http://valums.com/files/2009/vertical...#

Instructions: http://valums.com/vertical-scrolling-...

If that type of menu is difficult, how can I add a normal scroll bar for the Navigation Menu? The sites you sent me are for changing the scroll bar on the right side, not about putting a scroll bar inside of a web page.

Can you please help?

Hello John

I've taken a look at the example and instructions you posted here. These can be done in Yola, but you need to be quite advanced in web design.

If you would like to add your menu with a scroll bar, then you could try adding it inside a Text box, as in this example: Text Box Test. If the contents of the text box exceeds the borders of the text box, it will show scroll bars. You can adjust the size of the text box so that it has scroll bars.

Have a look at this tutorial for more details: Adding a Text Box.

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have more questions or need more help.
