hello Logan,
There really are a large number of options there.

You can use widget facilities in the sidebar, you can download free slideshow makers or you can use an online creator for this.

Why don't you have a look at the sidebar first of all . A nice one is Slide.

If you are familiar with Picassa you can use their slideshow facility.

I have an awesome one whch sets the slides up in a slow spiral with a music background if you wish.

There are a number of slideshows that can be used. Slide.com is one that is integrated with Yola. You'll find it on the Right hand side column under "Widgets" It's called "slide"

Beware though, if you use it in a blog, you will not get access to your "new post" button or "blog manager". There's a bug.. but if you just use on a webpage.. you should have no problems.

Other slideshows that you can use are:

Rock You.com
imageloop.com

Just copy the html code and then drag the html box over to your page and paste the code in the box.

Littleus have you ever come across a euro online product that you set up your series and then with sliders you manipulate the times for each slide presentation. It also allows you to fully play with the fade ins and fade outs for each slide?

I can't find the b$$$ thing again :(

I'm not familiar with vista. So I have no idea what they may have replaced it with.

I'm getting 2 to 4 minute delays on seeing posts here. Embarassing because it feels as if you're contradicting other people.

Try to use some 3rd party slideshow makers, like:
