Sorry , you need to wait untill a period of purchase ends.
Domain name purchases are non refundable.

Hi Keval,

If your domain has expired and you can't renew it, then you can unpublish it by following these steps: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/....

Once the domain is available for purchase again, you can repurchase it. Would you like to post your domain name so that I can double-check for you?

Can I ask what "period of purchase is"? I am hoping it just means that yes, we can keep our same domain name but have to wait til renewal date? I am thinking about purchasing the Silver plan since nothing I have looked at in months seems as good as yola and it's pricing. But I am here to see what problems might be happening with using Yola as webhost. Thank you much, Denise

Hi,
period of purchase means the period that you paid for , to buy a domain.

For an example , if I buy the domain example.com from Yola , for 2 years , I can't claim the payment. Also , anyone can't buy this domain untill the "period of purchase" fires.(2 years)

So your website remains intact? You just need to pay for renewal on time. I didn't understand why the original poster wasn't able to renew. Is that because a person can't renew before a certain date? That seems ok to me? I guess I just want to make sure that if I have a website up and running, that the domain name doesn't expire before the renewal date? That wouldn't make any sense. Sorry if this is confusing to anyone;) Denise

Hey Denise - all valid questions! You are given various options when you buy a domain name - you can buy it for a minimum of one year (more years if you choose). You are then sent renewal notices before the domain expires and if you don't renew it, you still have a few weeks grace to renew it before it's no longer renewable. Then if it's still not renewed, it takes more time for the domain to be removed from the domain registry - this is something out of our control. Once it's undergone deletion and no-one else snaps it up, you can repurchase it.

I hope that helps!

Oh - your website is always available for you to edit in your Yola account. Even if your domain expires, your actual site in the Sitebuilder will not be deleted.

Ok Marije, thank you much. As long as my website won't come down at anytime "unless" I don't renew it and ontime:) Denise
