If I delete the images in the file manager that are currently on my web pages. Will that remove the images from my pages? I need to upload different images but my file manager is getting a bit big. I could make a sister site here and hot link, but I really don't want to do that. Hotlinking is not a habit I endorse or want to get into doing if at all possible.

Hi Monica and Thrundar

Sadly you are both correct. If you delete an image from your file manager it will no longer load on your page.

We are aware that when you have a large number of files, the file manager becomes clumsy and slow to load. We would like to address this by adding folders to the file manager. I do not have a release date for this feature yet, however.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how highly would you rate the importance of folders in the file manager?

For me, it would be a 10 for importance. It would make it easier to manage. Plus loading time each time I need to use and image could be reduced as I could then reduce the amount of images I need to look through to get to the ones I need for a particular page or topic.

I would have to say a really big 10!!!

I too have a HUGE file manager and 'sorting' everything to folders would help by ALOT!.

LOL! Depends where you're standing, I guess. Time zone differences are one of the exciting challenges in supporting a web app that never sleeps!

My "day" is actually night. I live in NY and the time right now is 9:37PM. I work nights and sleep during the day. Coffee!
