DeviantArt Gallery in My Site?

I am wondering if anybody knows how to "import" your DeviantART gallery into your site either as a widget or by using HTML.

To give an example I would like a gallery in my site, but without having to either use Flicker or do it manually (uploading all my images that are already on my DeviantArt account).

I have already have looked at the DeviantART "pasties" but these are not specific to your gallery.

The only other option I could think of was using this link:
http://justsitback.deviantart.com/tit...

however how could this be used "Within" my site, without having to click on the link? Like a Flicker gallery in a Yola site.

I have not come across a way to do this...I have some of my work there on deviant also....I will take a look again and see if maybe they have added some sort of widget for adding your gallery to other sites.

Hi PD,

I checked around and the only thing I could find was 'share/blog this' on your deviation page. This probably isn't what you are looking for but that's all there seems to be.

i don't know a thing about deviantArt but I found the following on the FAQ page by typing in embed

The "Embed Feature" is like Pasties, only instead of displaying 5 random thumbnails of others works, or your own, you can display one BIG beautiful thumbnail of one of your own works or another users' (provided they have the embed feature enabled).

How do I use it?

To use this feature you will need a website with Flash enabled, once you're certain your website is Flash enabled simply view the deviation you wish to embed and grab the embed code from the right hand side of the Artist description box.

Please be advised, this feature will not work in your deviantART Journals.

What does it look like?

An example can be found by clicking here.

Can I turn it off?

To turn off the "Embed Feature" on your deviations, you will need to disable your images from the deviantMOBILETM Service.

Please read here, for instructions on how to remove your images from the deviantMOBILETM Service.

I hope this helps?

I am attempting the same thing; I figured I'd used the RSS feed of my gallery and import it into flash... so far I'm having a bit of trouble.

Hello Joshua,

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to offer you much assistance here as I'm unfamiliar with DeviantArt. I'm wondering if perhaps you may have greater success in addressing your issue through the DeviantArt forum or support? Hopefully some other Yolans are familiar with this topic and will be able to jump on this thread and offer advice.

Hi,

I wrote a PHP script that will allow you to dynamically grab your deviations from your DeviantArt galleries:

Have you installed this in your yola built site to check its function?

I can confirm this works by using the HTML Code widget in the Yola SiteBuilder.

You will need to host the getDeviations.js file somewhere and modify the script src (see GitHub readme).

I have now created a new Javascript plugin to embed deviantArt galleries into your site without any PHP/Javascript programming experience.
