I may be totally wrong here.. but I just assumed that keywords were for the SEO stuff. Then, tags were a way for people to look for your stuff? So, if someone typed in clothes and if this is one of your tag words, then your link would come up?

Ohhh.. now I see it! =) Okay.. here's my guess.. the tags under the publishing settings, are the general keywords for your entire site. Whereas the keywords in the page are specific to each page. For example, you could have a page specifically about cars, so your keywords would be specific to that content. Whereas the tags would be more general to your total site - e.g. vehicle store, second-hand, blah blah

Maybe im wrong here but im guessing,

The one in the publishing window is for the SEO of the full site.

The one in the Properties of a page were meant for every other page than the home page, Since different pages have different titles. There must also be different keywords.

That's my idea of why its there.

My guess is its a redundant internal Yola search directory system.
We should make a competition out of it :)

Hey everyone - apologies for taking so long to reply.

The tags that can be added in the Publishing Settings don't actually do anything at the moment. This is a setting that we have neglected to remove - thank you for picking it up!

To confirm, you should use the Properties section of your page to add any keywords for SEO.
