Hi Andy,

The differences you are seeing might be caused by the different screen resolutions in XP and Vista. Can you please post the screenshot of the site in XP.

Hello,
Kershnee is currently offline so I will try to help. It looks like the fonts are being rendered differently, possibly because one of those operating systems doesn't have that font installed. Can you post a link to your website so I can look at it on my system.

Thanks,
Emmy

Hi Emmy

If you're using XP please click on http://www.gadget-webstore.co.uk
that's what everybody sees live. Attached you will find a screen shot for Vista. It's not just the fonts, is true the fonts are Vista but the lines should be the same not random on the page. If you can open up the site eith two different windows versions you will se the difference.

Thanks

Hi Andy, we haven't forgotten your request. Some of the people we need to get advice from on this aren't at the office since it's the weekend. I'm sorry, but would you mind giving us a little more time to work on this?

Hi Andy,

When you added in your text for each image, it seems as though you used the spacebar to add in your spaces ( ), this caused your alignment to go off when viewed in Vista and XP.

To avoid this, I would suggest adding this content to a table on your page. You can add the image and the text to different cells.
The only way to add a table to SynthaSite at the moment is with HTML. Here is a link to an HTML table generator: http://www.quackit.com/html/html_tabl...

You can use this service to create your table, and then follow these steps on SynthaSite:

1. Drag-and-drop an HTML widget from the sidebar on the right onto your page (the icon for this is a blue sphere).
2. An HTML editor will open up that will allow you to write or paste your code (use right-click > paste or ctrl-V to paste).
3. When you are done, click "OK" and you will see the way that the HTML displays on your page.

Your table will be embedded in a usable website format.

Hi
Thanks for you reply.

I've tried to generate a HTML table on a test page on my site and then copy the HTML code where i needed to be, it looks different when moved to a different page. I agree with you it's because i used the spacebar but to generate a HTML table is not gonna work either.

Another thing, i've signed up for Google Adds and i was very excited that i'm gonna have some adds on my website, Google came back to me with the following message:

"We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:

- Difficult site navigation

---------------------

Further detail:

Difficult site navigation: While reviewing your site, we found that it
was down. Google ads may not be published on a site that is not fully
launched, functioning, or easily navigable. Once your site is
functioning and has enough content for our specialists to review, we
will be happy to reconsider your application. If there is a typo in the
URL submitted, you can resubmit your application with the correct site
by following the directions below."

I am dessapointed Guys after all that hard work,i don't know why my site is not fully launched or is difficult to navigate. I think is very good looking site and all my friends agree with me.

Any support will be apreciated in how to get adds on my website.

Also i'm still waiting for Google to index my site. All verified, sitemap submited, again i can't understand why is taking so long.

Thanks Synthasite
