Is it possible to have the dimensions of text boxes and banners available in pixels please? Or has someone already asked this. Would make easier when designing for uploading to site.
I guess you currently have a couple of immediate options.
The banner sizes are generally given in the sitebuilder for the specific banner when changed, the text boxes may be apparent on addition or like the custom panles are dynamic and can only be measured after they are implemented.
The second option is a downloadble ruler to measure the height and width of the frames and subframes. I use Ruule and Measure It. and find these work well. They're unobtrusive and can be activated in a split second and then de-activated when not in use.
The third option is something like Firebug which allows you to see the space allocations if defined and you can then take these measures for images etc. it also gives you margins etc. so you can create a very accurate fitting image.
Gop you are a marvel. Thank u. Gop, I guess I asked a stupid question! Shld have known better - but late at night here and as am having issues with my site just did not think! I actually use pixel ruler. Just thought it would be nice to see I guess, for those not really familiar with other bits and pieces. Shld have thought thru prior to posting. However, did not realise re Firebug, so very interesting and will have to try and use that as it shld be used (which I don't). thanks again.
