DISQUS AND CONFUSION

Hey, So I made a account on Disqus for my comment sections, but i still have NO IDEA how to add a blog...are there any information which are easier to understand?

Sorry I mean...NO IDEA how to add a comment section, I already made the blog page..but making the comment section is HARD and CONFUSING

Okay, So I made a google account..and it is still not working !!!
this is really confusing !
I made ALL accounts, I copied and pasted the HTML codes from the website and NOTHING still

Hi Ali,

Here are the steps to adding the Disqus comment feature to your blog:

1. To get the comment code, your site needs to be published.
2. Click on the "Blog Manager" button.
3. Click on the "Settings" tab.
4. Click on the "Disqus" logo to visit www.disqus.com and register for an account by clicking on "Sign up, free".
5. Register your site in the blue box. Enter your site URL, site name and site short name.
6. Create your Disqus Profile in the green box. Enter your username, password, and email address.
7. Click on continue.
8. Choose your language and any other optional features you'd like to include with your commenting platform. Then click on continue.
9. In the "Choose Install Instructions" box, click on Yola/Synthasite.
10. Copy the code in the #2 box.
11. Go back to your blog manager settings, then paste the code into the box. Then click on Done.
12. When you preview your site and click on the blog title, you may see this message: "This page could not be reached by Disqus. If you are testing locally or on a password-protected page, please use the disqus_developer parameter as detailed here.." - please don't worry about that. You just need to update your site and you will see the comment box working on your published site.

You only need to add the code to your site once, and the comment feature will be enabled for all of your posts. You can then log in to your Disqus account to moderate any comments.

Please note that the comment box will only show up on your published site when you click on one of your post titles and scroll to the bottom of the post.

Hi ONE QUICK QUESTION:
a post appears and I forget what it says, but it says..something about null...how the thing was made null..or something to that extent what is that?

Can you please try re-adding your comment code to see if this makes any difference? Please let us know how this goes.

hey Sanja, So I did what you told me to do...I went back to discus and copied code number 2 again, and pasted it on the blog manager /setting area...and nothing again....it only says discuss this here on discus there is no leave a comment

Thanks for letting me know. To leave a comment, you need to click on your blog post and you will see the comment box at the end of your post. Please let me know if you do not see this. It would also be helpful if you could post your site URL if you are still having issues so that we can take a closer look at this.

Sanjay is stil says NOTHING....im sorry for the caps...but im so sad...i just dont understand wha im doing wrong..all it says..it..something is powered by discus thats IT..

I am wondering if the error lies in your site URL that you're giving to Disqus? Can you please double check that your URL is correct in your Disqus account?

Also.. I'm wondering if you're copying the wrong code? Can you please go through the steps once again. Here's a really great tutorial which include screenshots to help you through the process: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

i did everything and still NOTHING...HEY...could I give me account information to you or a employe and maybe they could figure out the problem that way ??
This has become a bit tiresome for you as well as for me and I dont like bothering the emplyes this much

Okay I have to back to school...but JUST INCASE...you didnt know..it is a Underscore which seperates my login information ***_***
the password has NO underscore...but THANK THANK THANK THANK u so much
