I know you get a lot of questions on this and I looked at your reply. I followed the guidelines on Disqus but did not understand them and there was no effect. I followed the guidelines you guys gave to another person that asked but there's still no effect. Help?

Hello Ruth. First on the Blog page click the yellow "Blog Manager" button and a dialog box will appear. You will see 3 tabs, here is a screen shot:

Click on the circled tab (Which is SETTINGS) and you will see the Disqus set up.

First, sign up for a Disqus account.

Once you are signed up and you are logged in, then go to this URL: http://disqus.com/comments/yola

Copy the code in box #2 and paste it in to the box in the Blog Manager > Settings.

Then click "Done" and save and preview your page and comments will be added to all of your posts.

REMEMBER: IGNORE Disqus' INSTRUCTIONS AND JUST COPY THE FIRST CODE AND PASTE IT IN

Then you can login to Disqus anytime and moderate comments.

I hope this information is helpful!

If you need any assistance with this please let me know.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hello Ruth - your comments are showing on the blog posts: http://superjuniorbabble.yolasite.com.... Are you perhaps looking on your blog page and not on the individual posts?

I don't think it shows up on the Preview though only the published site. (correct me if I'm wrong).

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hi beachtravelsMaster,
Are you hoping to have a comment count on your blog that will show site visitors how many people have commented before they click on the actual post?

@Marije, I have tried that..The code works as clicking the "Comments" directs to the post's comment area, but I don't see any count when I tried posting some comments for that post :-(

Hi, BeachtravelsMaster,

I am able to see the comments and the number. Can you try clearing your browser's cache and see if that helps?

Will not there be any count right next to "Comments" text?

Are you looking for a word or character count for your comments? If so, I'd suggest copying it into a word processing document for this information. If you can tell us more about how you would use it, I may be able to offer an alternate solution.

and disqus is why I use an HTML comment box. Easy, quick and fast. Copy and paste the code, and your away!

I really think Yola should ditch disqus, and just provide some code for a basic HTML one or something. Disqus seems to be causing problems for everyone.

Yola is really one of my favorite site on internet which will give me freedom to create blogs and personal site which I want to create. Disqus is really good comment system to use. I am using disqus for my comments from 6 months and I don't found any problem with it.
