Is there an option for customers to simply buy a product through my online store without registering their details?

Hello Annie,

Buyers don't need to sign in to your Store to buy goods. This facility allows users to browse and put articles aside for review. Such products will be stored for them for 30 days. It's a selling strategy to prompt returning buyers to review a kind of wishlist.

When a buyer moves to the transaction payment then they need to sign-in/log-in to the payment gateway as this is a separate aspect linked to but not controlled by the Online Store. A number of Store owners have removed the Sign in facility believing that this can be a turn-off. Probably not for most people though.

Thanks, Gop. How do I turn the sign-in facility off? I want to see if this affects the level of sales in any way.

Hi Annie

I think the sign-in option may be disabled by default. To check this for your Yola Online Store, please follow these steps:
  1. Go into your Online Store Control Panel by clicking on "Advanced Options" on your Online Store page of your My Yola.

  2. Click on "System Settings".

  3. Click on "General".

  4. Click on the "Cart" tab.

  5. Go to the "Checkout Settings" section and check whether the box next to "Require customers to create accounts on checkout" is checked.

If it's not checked, your customers shouldn't be asked to create an account for your Online Store on check-out.
