I have recently bought a new domain name simplyeighties.com. Do I need to add new webmasters code to each page again, or can I verify the new domain with the exisiting code that was put there using the original eighties.synthasite.com domain?

I've already added webmasters code to the original domain eighties.synthasite.com, but I changed domains to a bought domain simplyeighties.com. Will the new domain name need new webmasters code, or do i just leave the existing code that is already there?

Hi Marky - the new domain will need to be verified with Google Webmaster Tools (WMT) again. If you add the new domain to your WMT account, it will show up as unverified since it's new.

Google will give you a new verification code for this domain - you don't need to enter that code on every page - you only need to add it to your home page so it only should take a few minutes.

I also wanted to note that we redirected your old subdomain was redirected to your new domain - anyone who follows a link to or types in the address of your old subdomain will be brought immediately to your new address.

Please let us know if you have any issues, and best of luck with your site and new domain!
