Hello April Mae,

If you have a domain purchased through Yola you will receive an email a month before it is set to expire with the option to renew. I hope that helps, if you have further questions please let us know.

when you renew, do you get a chance to enter a different credit card number, or does it have to be the same one as before?

If you don't renew, does it go back to synthasite or yola sub domain or does it not work at all. And if someone goes to the purchased domain address will they be redirected to the synthasite or yola site?

You could go back to a .yolasite.com subdomain if you were to let your domain name expire.

When you say, if someone goes to the purchased domain name will they be redirected to the subdomain, I am not sure I understand exactly what you mean. If you were to let your domain name expire, when someone went to it they would either get to an open DNS page (if the domain had not been purchased) or to another website if it had been purchased.

Possibly you are referring to upgrading to a custom domain name from a subdomain. If you do this, when someone tries to go to the subdomain they will be redirected to the custom domain.

Let me know if this doesn't answer your question.
