I need to know the name of the synthasite server registered to my account, so that I can fill out a certain form with another company... If anyone knows how to find out the server name, PLEEEASE HELP ME OUT!

NOTE: this is not a scheme to hack the main server (lol), and I have already emailed synthasite support with my question...

Just in case anyone has the same question - there is no reason why you need a name for the SynthaSite servers. If you are confused by someone asking you for this, post here or email support@synthasite.com and we will help you figure it out.

It is possible that Forest is wanting to know if there is a way to upload a file from our computer to synthasite, instead of uploading every picture from our computer to the image holder, and then having to download them to our pages. I just asked this question myself a short while ago.

Hi MJ, Forest's question is about publishing to a domain - I don't think it's in the same line as your question! I have answered your question in the forum and the one that you sent to Support! I hope we can answer your questions to your satisfaction.

Hi, Marije,
Using web publishing wizard, I can publish a file to the web. Does Synthasite allow this function? if yes, what service provider would I use to host my web site? Thanks, Maryjo

Hi MJ,

You can load a file to your site using the file manager widget - you'll find it in the sidebar at the right of the page and it looks like a computer file.

When you publish your site we will host it on our servers for you, so you don't need to worry about it.

I don't realy know why you want to know the names of he servers (try searching it), but here are some answers that might help you. You can download and host the site yourself. But, your computer wqould need to be online the wholetime that your hosting the site (i.e. if your computer is ofline for an hur than your website will be down fore an hour). To upload every file you want at the same time, you can put them in a .zip folder and then upload the folder. The files won't be able to be viewed online, though. Users would have to download the .zip folder.
