I have transferred a domain name that I purchased through Yola to someone else. The gmail account that was set up to go with the domain name does not seem to be working now. Does the domain transfer affect the gmail account? Are the two linked or should the gmail account still be working? People have been trying to use the gmail account, but it has not been working recently.

Hi Susan,

this does affect the MX settings of the mail. Your solution is to go through the process of setting it up again.

Your best bet here is to follow the instructions on the Gapps site or your new domain registrars instructions/advice. l

Gop is correct, you will need to set it up again with the MX records from your new host.
