Does the 'Silver' site level give me root & head access?

I'd really like to officially register my site with Alexa, but I'm unable to as I only have the free version of Yola.

The problem is that with the free version of Yola, I cannot access my site's root directory or *head* area to insert the Alexa code necessary to "claim" the site / prove I own it.

So my question is . . . If I upgrade to Yola's "Silver" package, will I then have access to my root directory & section?

Thanks much,

That would be nice if it did, but I don't know. I hope that all the plans (Plus Free) will allow access to the Root at least! But it would be very nice to have access to the Head section to!

Hey, you can just put the Alexa code in the body. Just drag and drop a HTML widget at the very TOP of the page, as close as you can get, and paste the code. It usually works for me! Whenever a website asks me to put a code int he head, I put it in the body and it works fine!

Hope this helps!

Hello there Jewel,

Unfortunately you do not have access to the root directory or head area in Yola Silver.

You can still verify your site though - using email. There is a thread here where one of our champs explains how to verify with Alexa.

I hope this helps.
