Hi there i am trying to do an iframe to link my yola store direct to my facebook page but my facebook address is https://www.facebook.com/MJs.Trade.Ou.... I have succesfully set up an iframe to link to my ebay shop but the url for that was http://stores.ebay.co.uk/MJs-Trade-Ou... so the only difference between that and the facebook page is the http or https?

Is there a way i can set this up?

Hi justin,

Yola built sites don't offer https at this stage.

The https or http in your example is coming from the original site(s) facebook or ebay and not Yola.

Your store transactions however are secure because the transactions are completed over a connection through Ecwid itself and to the secure payment gateway.

Hopefully they will be introduced as the commentators across the web recommend this for e-com sites and emphatically warn buyers to stay away from stores without this security.

OK. The answer is true by Yola but the impression or perception is held by a large number of potential buyers and there's nothing that we can do to sway them otherwise I'm sure. The solution: offer secure connections. They generally are a paid for subscription but for those who are producing competitive stores I think an essential addition.

I see. If you have a "FB Page" then this can't be placed into the FB page as a mirror of your store?

I did this previously and it seemed to work. maybe about 6 to 8 months ago.

i was trying to add a tab using an app by facebook (not third party app like tabfusion, etc.) but facebook requires https for me to edit a code and replace with my website url. the app by facebook says http is not acceptable.

will yola ever consider allowing us to use https in the future? i mean will it even be possible for them?

since i also have several domains with godaddy, can i buy an ssl with godaddy for my domain with them and have my subdomain in yola point to my domain in godaddy with https? is this even possible? i had my domain pointed to breezi server but not yet https so i haven't tried it but i wonder if this is possible with yola.

this might be just a simple question and long been answered, and i'm just confused. enlighten me :-)

It's been 3th years I am running my website with Yola, and waiting for https. I never heard that they are working on it or will have it soon, so I decided to look for other options to grow my business. Now I have 2 websiter one at Godaddy with htpps and the other one is with yola with http.
I am getting more hit on my Yola website, but more sale on my Godaddy web site, and I thing it is because of https.
I am waiting and will love to Yola to work on a https website for their users.
