My domain has been pending for over 13 business days awaiting transfer to GoDaddy. I'm paying for service I can't use at this point. When I call I'm told I just have to keep waiting. That's ridiculous! What do I do? www.becomeamazingnow/yolasite.com

Hello jenmore117

When I check the WHOIS records for your domain, becomeamazingnow.com, I see that it registered with GoDaddy: status OK; updated: 29-jul-2011. If you would like to check these details yourself, you can do so at this site: whois.com.

If you would like to use your domain, but are still unable to do so, then I suggest you contact GoDaddy for further assistance.

I hope this is helpful. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance in this matter.

Thank you Nazlie, it would have been helpful if someone had told me this the last two times I called.

I was finally able to create two A records through GoDaddy but the directions are unclear regarding what they should say.

Do I create two identical A records with your IP address? Is the host name "Yola"?
Thank you!

Hello,
Are you wanting to now point your domain from GoDaddy to Yola to publish your site? If that is the case, you need to set up two A Records going to our ip address 184.72.229.176. Here is a link to a tutorial: Publish to a domain you already own.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Thank you. I have arranged all DNS settings through GoDaddy as suggested in your walkthrough. However, Yola is still showing my domain as pending registration. I need this fixed ASAP since according to WHOIS the registration was complete with GoDaddy 3 weeks ago. This issue is on the Yola side, not GoDaddy.

Hello jenmorel117,

I spoke with a DNS Team member and he has confirmed that your domain is with GoDaddy and is currently pointing to WIx. You would need to contact GoDaddy to make the changes needed. I hope they will be of assistance to you.

I spoke to GoDaddy. They said all the information is correctly pointed to you as of August 18th at 8am. Yola still has my domain pending. Please help me fix this.

Hello Jenmorel117,

I think there is a bit of confusion as to what it is you're trying to do. First of all, I took a look at your domain and your site is now up and running. However, it is redirecting to the subdomain. To fix this up, please refer to this tutorial: My domain is redirecting to my Yolasite subdomain.

Now, this method that you have used is simply pointing your domain to Yola. Are you wanting to transfer your domain to Yola so that we are now your domain registrar or are you wanting to keep your domain hosted at GoDaddy and continue pointing to us?

I want to keep GoDaddy as my registrar and point my domain to Yola as my host. I already tried the walkthrough you referred to but it won't let me make my domain primary because it is listed as pending.

Nazlie, I haven't heard back from anyone. I need this fixed today. I have paid you for service you aren't providing. If you can't fix it, let me know ASAP so I can take my business elsewhere. A month is too long to wait for resolution of this issue. Thank you.

Hi jenmore117

We followed up on this issue for you.

The good news is that your website is now published! http://www.becomeamazingnow.com.

We noticed that there was a problem with the domain transfer initially and we had to re-process it from our side again. Please check your email for the domain transfer request as it has now been resent.

The domain transfer should be complete soon and then it will be in your Yola account.

I hope this helps!

Hi Nazlie, Thank you for the followup.
Unfortunately, I do not want to transfer my domain to Yola, I prefer to keep it with GoDaddy. When I attempt to load the site it says it results in too many redirects. What should I do now?

Hello,
I m able to access your site successfully at your domain name and do not receive an error message. Did you begin the transfer process already when you received the domain transfer request?

I cleared my cookies and the site loaded properly. I wasn't sure what to do with the transfer request. Since things are working now should I ignore it, or go ahead and deny it to stay with Godaddy?

Hi Jen,
That decision is completely up to you! If you are content with GoDaddy, you are certainly welcome to keep them as your registrar, otherwise, we would be happy to provide you support as your new domain registrar.

This problem was fixed for several weeks but suddenly yola says my domain is pending again and is publishing under the subdomain. I have double and triple checked that the settings are correct with GoDaddy but Yola gives me an error saying it is not pointed to you. It was working for a while, what happened? Please fix this, I'm very frustrated!

Hello Jen,

I'm not sure why this is happening. I will need to have our Yola DNS team assist you. Please allow them 48 hours to respond. I apologize for the delay.
