I really need to change the name of my website. I originally called it 'Wanted: Domesticated Sex Goddess and now I can't get rid of this name! I changed the public domain to but it is not showing this name when I post the site out. I have inquired about this in the past and I can no longer wait for the website to change the name itself. I'm losing potential clients because of it Please help me sort this out or I will have to leave altogether

Hello Elkie

Don't worry, it's very easy to change your website name, and your new name will show in the browser tab immediately after republishing. However, it may take a while until search engines or Social Media providers update their data about your website.

What you need to do is rename your website:
  1. Open your website in the Yola Sitebuilder.

  2. Click on the "Site" tab.

  3. Click on the pencil icon on the left-hand side. The tooltip says "Rename your site".

  4. Enter the new name and save.

Every new page you create from now on will have the new website name. For all your existing pages, you will need to edit the metadata for each of them:
  1. Open an existing page by clicking on the "Page" tab nad selecting the page from the Page Selector on the very left-hand side.

  2. Click on "Page Properties".

  3. Click on "Metadata", and edit the Page Title. Save.
