Domain names not registered with Yola

I noted that one of the support docs on domain names says "you will need to upgrade to Yola Silver in order to publish to a domain pointing to Yola." Is this a recent change? Presume this means we can no longer point a domain rgeistered elsewhere to a Yola free site? What about existing free Yola sites where domain name has been registered previously elsewhere? Will those remain unaffected by this change and continue to work ok? Paul.

Hi parvaman25,

This change was implemented in February, and this blogpost has all the details about the change: http://www.yola.com/blog/changes-to-f....

If you are currently pointing a domain to Yola's servers from another domain registrar this will stay in place, and your domain can remain pointed for free indefinitely. The inability to point domains without Yola Silver will only be for new publishing.

I hope this answers your question!

I tried to change my domain from my existing free site to another that I have created and have lost my domain and now it's asking me to update to point my domain.

Hello Nina

Could you please provide your domain name for me to find your Yola account in our database?
