Dear yola i have designed two websites for clients , they have both received an email notifying them that the domain names prices are changing, this price is now not competitive with my local ISP so how do i go about deregistering the domain with yola and getting my clients the same domain through my local companies cos it will only cost R79.00 per year. My clients are not liking all the changes in prices since this is not the same package i offered them, so some how i have to do something. I love yola so not angry i just want to assist my clients

Hello HayleyG,

I'm sorry to hear that your clients are displeased. There is still time to renew the domain names at the old price if they would like to - the prices will only change in the middle of February.

If you "deregister" a domain, you would allow it to expire. This means that there would be several months where the domain would not be able to be used for a site (whether with Yola or another service) before it can be purchased again.

An alternative would be to transfer the domain to a new service. You can find those steps on this link:
