Domain names under one roof - The Yola Roof

Hi

I have two domain names currently bought from GoDaddy.com

However I would like to transfer them and buy them through Yola so everything is in one location. Also I do not feel as close to GoDaddy as I do to Yola and the team. I cannot risk losing my domain names as they are a big part of the branding of each site.

Would I have to wait until the subscriptions run out with GoDaddy before I can renew them with Yola - what insurances can I have that I will not lose the names to anybody else during the process?

Is there any chance I could reserve them with Yola until that time comes.

Your help will be gratefully received

Thanks
Stewart

Hi Stewart,

I have some good news for you! We're currently working on a project where you will be able to transfer your domain from your current domain registrar to Yola. We're hoping that this will be available in the next few weeks, unfortunately I can't give you an exact date. Can you wait until then?

We would recommend that you rather do that than letting the domain lapse. There is often a waiting period after a domain has expired and there's no guarantee that you will be able to repurchase it before someone else has (when that waiting period is up).

Good! I too have names I would love to transfer to Yola were this possible, both to support Yola with my $$ and because of the unparalleled customer service. I would also like to see the options to enable private registration and the ability to update my administrative contact. Thanks Yola team.
