I renewed my domain on January 4, 2012. I received confirmation via email. Transaction number = cab5b317a166490fb98cd20c9c2ec41e. Yet I still am receiving emails, plus my account shows my site will expire on 1/26/12. Please advise what is going on. Did my account NOT get renewed? Why did I get confirmation? PLS email my account

Hi Rick,

There may be a flaw in this accounting module or it may be for your hosting plan as separate to your domain charge. It seems to pop up from time to time as do most accounts questions.

The people will be in later as I think they are based in SA(?) about 6-8 hours in front of the US and I'm sure they will send you an email.

Hi Rick,

We have recently introduced domain hosting subscription packages as well as lowered our custom domain pricing.

The cost of domain purchases and renewals are now available from $11.95 / year. I have reviewed your account and I can confirm that your domain has been renewed at this lower price.

When your domain is up for renewal, you also need to renew Yola Bronze. As a valued Yola customer, we are giving you a discount on your hosting package at the time of renewal and your Yola Bronze subscription will renew at $23 (normally $49.95), for the first year. Thereafter you will pay the full price.

This, in effect makes the first year of your domain and hosting package renewal cheaper than the initial cost of your domain.

As a Yola Bronze subscriber, you can host multiple domains, and can publish your sites to externally managed domains. You also receive a 30% when you upgrade from an annual Yola Bronze package, to an annual Yola Silver package.

To renew your Yola Bronze subscription please follow these steps:

1. Login to your Yola account.
2. Click "Account" on the left-hand menu.
3. Click the "Renew subscription" link.
4. Follow the steps to make your payment and renew your subscription.

If you have any further questions, please let us know and we will gladly assist you.

Kind Regards,

Hello Rick,

Did you get all that extended hogwash verbage? I wish they would learn some simple writing skills and answer questions with straight answers.

In summary yes you need to pay for a hosting plan. $23 dollars for this year. Due on the 26th January 2012.
