my domain, Cracked-ice.com, keeps forwarding to a domain i bought the other day by accident, cackedice.com (because i thought i was buying crackedice.com). Accidentally buying the domain is my fault and i have other plans for that domain. Anyways i had it set up the other day for Cracked-Ice.com to forward to cackedice.com by making cackedice.com set to primary and Cracked-Ice.com set to secondary, but then i realized i misspelled it so I unpublished my sight and published it back to Cracked-Ice.com as primary and no secondaries. but its still forwarding the domain. I let this sit overnight, because it usually takes yola about 5 minutes just to publish my site anyway, thinking that by morning it would be fixed. but its still not and i really want this fixed ASAP.

Hi Daniel,

DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to propagate. This is not something Yola controls but is a general timeline for DNS record changes. That said it's usually much faster and I'm happy to check your record settings for you. Cracked-Ice.com loaded for me and displayed the first site pictured below. cackedice.com displays the second site pictured. Can you please confirm which of these sites are displaying incorrectly and indicate where you would rather they direct so we can assist you further?

yeah i finally got it fixed after setting up everything back the way i had it and then breaking it back down piece by piece. i set it back to cackedice.com as primary and cracked-ice.com as secondary then clicked "make primary" on cracked-ice.com and "remove" on cackedice.com and it seamed to work perfectly. I think it was because i unpublished it but the dns settings were the same. I don't think that yola undid the secondary redirection when I clicked unpublish. This would be something you need to have it check when someone unpublishes a site.

Also I'm sorry for being rude i was just getting a bit frustrated at this.

Not a worry, I know between your original thread and this one it's been an ongoing frustration. Glad it finally seems sorted and sorry for all the confusion.
