Domains

I am going to be helping someone in my area set up their site and of course I am going to recommend Yola....My question is when buying a domain through Yola can it be purchased for more than 1 year? This really does help with becoming a trusted site as spam sites never buy for more than 1 year and legitimate companies do.

Hi John

Thanks for recommending us! :)

You can definitely buy more than 1 year and we encourage you to do so by offering a discount if you purchase for multiple years. You can buy your domain for up to 5 years.

Thanks Monique...I thought it was possible to register for more than one year but wasn't sure.

By the way I was thinking of you last night while watching The Travel Channel.....They were in Cape Town and in some place there that was serving liqueurs from the #4$%end of a Springbok by pulling its tail.....Is that where you guys take Emmy when she visits?

@ John,

How to make a Springbok:
1⁄2 tot Crème de Menthe
1⁄2 tot Amarula Cream
Method: Layer ingredients into a tot glass, Crème de Menthe first and then the Amarula Cream.

I knew you would reply to this my friend.....I think that is what they were making on the TV show I was watching as there were two Springbok dispensers.

How is the site building going? I am and have been to the point of making a decent living off of my site...Spent a lot of time tweaking key word phrases, page titles etc...Had some ups and downs in the amount of site visits but I ended up with better targeting of people that would be interested in my product.

Thanks Emmy....Quality targeting really is something to think about as opposed to how many visits you get...It took awhile but it has paid off for me.

Hey John,

I just got back from a weekend up the coast. Glad to hear your site is doing so well.
It's the ultimate isn't it? - Earning a living while doing something you enjoy.
Like you mentioned once before ... if you are going to work for an asshole, you might as well work for the one you see in the mirror everyday. I enjoyed that one :-) LOL

My site is comming along nicely. I'm spending about 10 hours a day on it at the moment. (Except this weekend of course). I have evolved into a PHP and Mysql guru. Just kidding! ... hair pulling out stuff this. I'm way past the deadlines I've set myself and hope to still launch the new site before the soccer world cup kicks off mid June. I'm not relient on the world cup for it's success, it just makes the launch's timing that much better.

I still check in here once or twice a day. I just don't comment as much as I used to. I'm still around. I'll be back! Have a springbok on me. Cheers!
