Just a heads up to my fellow Yola-ers

I used a free service called "BlastoMatic" to get backlinks to a few websites and now it seems that these sites have disappeared from google...have they been banned? I don't know. But I do know that the other sites, the ones I didn't submit to BlastoMatic are okay.

Hugs to all,
Blondie

Hi Blondie,

Blastomatic seems to have an OK review. McAfee have green lined it. A couple of reports call it a spam site but it's still operating effectively.

There's nothing mentioned about Google & Blastomatic in reviews or headlines that I can see.

I guess I can't give you a definitive answer on this issue. Quite possible that a few sites have been removed from their portfolio or simply lapsed in time.

Hey Peter!

I know what you're saying and I appreciate your pragmatic approach.

The only correlation I can come up with for websites that were doing well and their sudden disappearance is the fact that I submitted them to Blastomatic. Admittedly, this could be mere coincidence.

However, on the side of caution, I'm asking the fine folks within this community to be careful...perhaps test it, if they choose, with an "unimportant" site, should they decide to use the service at all.

Just looking out for "Number One"...and by that I mean the Yola folks. I love this community.

Hugs,
Blondie

Oh, and Peter...you ROCK. Thanks, dear!
