I have already register my domain name with Hostmonster and also paid for the year's hosting.
Can I now build my site with Yola and have the same domain name I registered?

Hello Dominic.

If you have already bought a domain somewhere else, you can use it to publish your site, and still host your site with us for free! However, first you will need to configure your domain name to point to Yola. You do this by creating A records (address record) to point to this IP address: "184.72.229.176".

We have a tutorial outlining the steps to configuring your domain: Publish to a domain you already own . You can also transfer your domain to Yola so that your domain is managed through us: Tutorial: Transferring your domain to Yola .

Once you've pointed your domain, watch a step-by-step video on how to publish your site using a domain you already own, please see: Publish to an external domain .

I hope this helps.

Yes, we are in the process of updating videos at this time. Here is a link to the written tutorial if you would like to go through it: Publish to a domain you already own which Jeremy also did link to above.

I hope this information is helpful!
