Can you have somebody download files? I want to upload a folder of files and then when I publish the website I want people to be able to download them. Is this possible?

Hi Aidan

Yes this is certainly possible. Here is what you need to do:
1) Drag and drop a file widget onto your page from the sidebar on the right (the icon for this looks like a computer disk)
2) Browse your desktop for a file to upload
3) When you click "ok" a link to your file will automatically be created. To text that it is working, save and preview your page.

People will then be able to click on your link and dowload your MS Word file, PDF, Powerpoint presentation, spreadsheet or whatever file you elect to upload.

Right now you will need to upload each file individually however.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any difficulty doing what I have suggested here.

Best wishes

I have some small games programmes that I want to be able to offer for download. I've uploaded the zip form of one, but when I download it to test it, it says it needs a certain .dll file.

I've re-zipped it to include this .dll, and both files download together ok but the .dll is not found by the system so I get the same error.

Any ideas on how to get the .dll into the downloader's system?
