I am trying to download a folder ( music ) on my Yola site, to my computer, so I can upload it to another site I am creating on Yola. When I right click on the folder to download the zip, nothing happens. I have tried on Firefox and IE. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Sal,
Have you got an up-to-date version of Flash and Java? Because I faced a problem like this and updated them both, and it worked!

Hi Sal

Thank you for posting your website.

Have you tried to clear your browser's cache? If not, then you may want to try doing that. Here is a link on how to do it: clear cache.

Please let us know if you have done that and are still having problems.

Thank you
Nazlie

Hi Sal

Good on you for not giving up! :)

I have one more suggestion for you to try. Can you see if it is possible for you to download one of the music files?

You may not be seeing anything because it is taking a while to download all the files. As far as I know, there is not a status bar when you download, so you cannot see the progress of the download.

Please let us know if you are able to download just one file.

Good luck!
Nazlie

If I right click on one music file and select download, a quick time player comes up and plays the song, but no downloading takes place.

Hello BritSAL,

This is being worked on by our engineers right now, however I do have a workaround for you. If you open up the folder and select all of the files you would like to download as the zip file you will be able to do it this way. To select multiple files with a PC, click on one and then hold down the Shift key and click on the others. You will then be able to right click on the file group and choose to "Download as Zip".

Let me know how this goes for you.

Hello Sal,
This has been fixed and you should now be able to download the zipped file from your File Manager to your computer! Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on that! Please let us know if you have any further troubles.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
