Hello Kershnee,

Here is the code I am using with the url's:

<!...

Choose House
Antiques
Advertising
Ceramics/Pottery
Crafts
Dolls/Bears
Fine Arts
Glass
Holiday/Seasonal
Housewares
Literature
Metalware
Textiles
Woodenware
Toys

>

If I use this coding for one box it works, but duplicating the code for a second or third box creates the problem where all three do not link.

Thanks for the wishes. I am able to stand today without falling over. Hope what I sent you is what you needed.

Lauren :)

Sorry I could not get back to you sooner. Have the flu and I need to lay down.

The following are the next two boxes:

<!...

Choose Office
Antiques
Ceramics/Pottery
Fine Arts
Glass
Housewares
Metalware
Woodenware

Choose Garden
Antiques
Ceramics/Pottery
Glass
Metalware
Woodenware

>

The 'Choose House, Choose Office, or Choose Garden' line are just click text and should not link with anything, but should display the categories when clicked. Isn't that coded <!...no link>?

I am really getting confused about this.

Thanks a million for your help.

Hi Lauren,

I have recreated all your page titles and made a copy of the menu with the menu maker that you have referenced.

There are some errors.

Can you give me the reference of the menu maker your using please. The generator is giving me seriously different code.

Believe it or not, I have the dropdown menu boxes working. I fiddled around with some of the coding and corrected a couple url addresses and everything is good to go. There is only one thing that I am unable to fix and that is the 'choose' text in each box from go to another window if it is clicked on. When the text is clicked it goes to a blank screen. Anyone have some suggestions for the coding. Here is how it looks now:

<!...Choose House /> >

Lauren

I’m happy that I have it working, but I am confident that the next problem will be solved, too.

Hi lauren,

Remove the
<!...
Choose house/>
>

A button image will appear with the phrase "Choose House" after you run the generator and install the code. Simply copy and paste the appropriate code. You won't have to add all the data into the generator if you are selective in copying the appropriate code.

This is the line of code at the bottom of each menu generation that you need to replace: (or something similar depending on what you have selected with your generator)
<!...

-->

This is what will be generated:

If you want to modify that then don't replace the code. simply wipe the code that you have given and with a widget put in a new heading.

Peter,

Why do you think the text for the button if clicked goes to a new screen.? That is the problem I am having now. It shouldn't.

I'm feeling better today and I guess I can see the problems in the code better. I'm on a roll. LOL!

in your first code you need to add # between the empty " " (3rd line down)
and you have some url errors and maybe you could add a go button. If you want the first set of code to work i could redo it for you - or are you working on a new menU?

I think that some of your pages have a slightly different name to those given to the generator. The use of capital letters etc is critical.

I am more than happy to help.

Can you list all the pages?
The easiest way to do this is through the site builder."Edit Menu" and either take a screen shot or copy and paste the text of both the items "in the menu" and "out of the menu".

That's great lateral thinking Lauren.
Kershnee taught you well.
Congratulations.

The code that we gave you would have given you less than optimal outcome for your page. This is exactly what you envisaged I think.
