Hi there,

Could you post your URL so that we can take a look?

What email client do you use on your computer? (Eg. Outlook Express, Outlook). If you use email software on your PC, clicking on an email address would cause the software to automatically open a new email. If you don't have the software installed, it would probably start asking you to install it!

Hope that helps!

e-mail is in the bottom of the index page

I do have outlook, but I have never used it.....my e-mail is either yahoo or msn.....so does this mean that this will work for others???? and only not working because it's trying to bring up my outlook?????

Thanks for the URL - I don't use any email software and it does the same for me - this is the way email links work in browsers!

You could add a line of text after the email address telling visitors to copy and paste the email address into their emails if it doesn't work properly.

Hi Feoh,
Diane is not currently online but when she returns she will be able to take a look at this. I know this is frustrating, but please note that Outlook is a separate entity from Yola and we can try to help with some instructions on setting up this email client, but it is not our environment so somewhat difficult for us to support. If you choose to manage your email using the interface Yola has created we can fully support you there.

I will ask Diane to come take a look at this and try to offer some further suggestions.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hi, Feoh,
Can you please double check your password. Remember this is not the same as your login for Yola. You can change your password by going into Yola Mail and click on Settings >> General >> Password. Try changing it and then redo the steps for the email client. Please let us know if this does not work.

Hi, Sorry... i fiddled around and do not know what exactly i did but it is working now. My new question is regarding the alias. Can this be a separate log in or will this also download the main email log in name?

Hello Feoh

I'm glad that you were able to get this resolved! Having aliases will not provide you with a separate login. This will only provide you with alternative contacts for which your visitors can contact you but the emails will be all sent to the same inbox.

If you wish to have a separate login, then you would need to purchase a new mailbox. I hope that helps!

Warm regards,
