Hi, i want to add a cart to my online shop that emails me its contents when the customer has finished. I can then check that i have all the items in stock (so as not to over sell) and send a paypal money request in the form of an invoice to the buyer. Paypal do have the add to cart option but there is no way of ensuring you do not oversell items or that it displays as out of stock when all gone.

Or, i could have an ecommerce site that does calculate the level of stock i have but i would want to give buyers the option to pay delivery or FREE when collecting. Am happy to use paypal but don't seem to be finding these options within that widget?

PayPal do have stock recording facilities and this can be used on Yola it isn't included within the e-com widgets however, you would need to go to the PayPal site and collect the details to set it up.
Simple PayPal doesn't have an either or option for delivery charge and the PayPal configuration is quite involved.

You may like to consider Ecwid as this can be configured for various options and is very easy to set up in Yola. The subscription is free for less than 100 products and costs $16(?) a month for more than 100 products, paid monthly. You can elect to use your PayPal account or any other gateway that is offered. You can even offer payment provider options and any number of shipping charge options.

Yola are about to release their e-commerce facility in December it has been announced but no details as yet.
