Hi Los Beast,

I'd like to assist you further, but can you let us know which part of the footer it is that you'd like to change or what it is that you're trying to do please?

I wanted to change the below site footer. I wanted to add my copyright notice and the DMCA seal.

Hi Los Beast,

You are not able to customize the footer of the style at this time. However, if you have Yola Silver, the Yola Link at the bottom of the page should be removed from all the sites in your account.

As a work-around for customizing your footer, you can add a Text Widget to the bottom of your page and add your footer text or images there.

I hope this helps.

Hi Los Beast,

For a step by step video on how to add a text widget to your site, please see: Adding Text. For more information on why not to add text directly from an outside source see this excellent tutorial: Tutorial.

Using a widget on the bottom of your page works, but you will have to copy it to all pages where you want it to show up.

Not too long ago, someone mentioned another way to add information to a footer that would apply to all pages. Nathan, maybe?

Hello All,

If you add the code to the Footer section of the Tracking codes feature, this option is only available to Yola Silver users.

Remember - try it out on a test website first, editing the code like this can easily cause your website to break!

Hope this helps,

Andi

@Andi

If I was to build a footer element in the CSS editor in Yola and add the required HTML into my Tracking Codes Feature.
(The HTML being a copyright info and a "Top of Page" anchor link)

Would this work?

Hey Jeremy, how did you get it done?  I can't seem to get my footer to take any CSS/div formatting or background colours when using the tracking section :'(
